The problem seems to be that no one wants to spend any time getting clear on elements of their own life. We don't spend any time on getting to know ourselves and who we want to become, We muddle with the next task that's dropped in front of us, without any conscious intention and when too many unasked for tasks are dropped in front of us, we feel overwhelmed and succumb to life with illnesses, blaming others, avoiding responsibility and complaining. None of which equates to feelings of happiness.
The remedy is to first to decide to 'be' happy. Next is to declare what things increase your happiness, which involves getting to know yourself and getting clear on the person you want to be and possibly doing new things to uncover what makes you happy.
Clarity also means learning how to set goals and plan processes and steps to get them. It means spending time designing the life you desire and doing this on a regular basis as you shape yourself with new experiences and new people.
To take the step of getting clear;
1.) Spend time learning about who you are and the type of person you want to be.
2.) Learn what those qualities are defined as for yourself and start 'being' them
3.) List or create vision boards based on the life events, experiences you want to make happen
4.) Create plans and next steps on how to make those experiences a reality.
5.) Determine the people you want to surround yourself in your life.
