Feedback is the most important communication that can happen in every single kind of relationship on this planet. No one can truly understand how they are affecting others in their life or how their behaviors are showing up for others if no one is discussing how they are being affected or how they see someone showing up for them.
Society seems scared to communicate when another human being has affected them, both positively and most definitely negatively. We are unskilled in our communication to give feedback effectively, with empathy and with an outcome that can create transformation in peoples lives, homes and businesses.
You're wondering, what possibly could feedback have to do with personality testing? EVERYTHING!
Feedback can show up in many different forms. Whenever you step into a survey, questionnaire, appraisal at work, or any kind of communication where you are asked a question that is related to your opinion, you are giving feedback.
Personality Tests are results or feedback based on the answers you selected within the questionnaire.
A simple definition: Feedback is the opinion of one or many on an experience. Personality tests are a group of questions about your experiences.
I am writing a series of business relationship training books for kindle and as I was training on the subject of feedback I realized that so little information is taught on this topic. And yet, it is such an important topic to learn. Feedback is weaved through out daily lives and we are unconscious to most of it.
If we don't know how to effectively deliver and receive feedback, so many conversations, sharing moments, ideas and skills get lost and no value to others or ourselves is had.
I would step out on a limb and say that a big part of individual breakdown and lack of growth is that we have not received feedback, are unable to assimilate the feedback we got into our lives, or do not know how to receive feedback so we hear it and do something with it.
I would invite you to look into feedback methods, learn how to master it in both the delivery and the receiving and start to see how your life is positively affected by using this skill.

Learning how to receive feedback can help you in taking what you can learn from the conversation without attaching a lot of extra meaning and unnecessary emotion, give you the ability to communicate further on the feedback and gain clarity, and also, when necessary create next steps to move forward and implement your learning.
